Announcement of Next Work Trip

So I have been told my next trip will be to San Diego! :) I have never been to California and I am WAY pumped for it! I will be shooting pictures and video of a military sports camp put on by U.S. Paralympics. What it is is a camp for injured service men and women to help them in their rehabilitation and recovery. This camp provides them with a chance to learn to cope with their injuries and disabilities and to help them learn that they can still live a normal and fulfilling life. Trainers and Paralympians teach participants techniques and adaptations of sports. The participants are also guided in a work-out to help them to still achieve optimal fitness.

Some sports that have been taught before at these camps are swimming, biking, kayaking, track racing, sled hockey and sit volleyball. I am not sure at this time which sports will be going on at the San Diego camp, but it promises to be a good time. I mean, how could I not have fun? I get to be around sports, be in California for a week and shoot video and pictures the whole time! So basically I get paid to have fun and do the things I love to do. I LOVE MY JOB!

I will be gone Oct. 11th-18th!
