A little time between wedding posts to say... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

This is going to be Micah and I's first Christmas as husband and wife. One of the ways that I wanted to celebrate this year is by sending out Christmas cards. When thinking about cards it just made sense for me to go with photo cards, because I am a photographer after all. ;) So I got to looking around and found this awesome opportunity with Shutterfly.com where I could get free Christmas cards by blogging about them!!! I went onto Shutterfly's website because I have used them before in the past and have been very pleased with their products.

A few months ago I blogged about a book I made with Shutterfly of Micah and I's engagement photos. So I thought it would be very fitting to get our very first Christmas cards together from the same place we ordered our engagement book. Here is that book:

It is hard to pick what card I want from Shutterflys selection however because there are so many awesome choices! You can check out their holiday cards options here:
CHRISTMAS PHOTO CARDS
HOLIDAY CARDS
CHRISTMAS CARDS
FOLDED CHRISTMAS CARDS

Here are the ones I am deciding from:
CARD 1
CARD 2
CARD 3
CARD 4
CARD 5
CARD 6
CARD 7

Which one should I go with guys? :)

If you want to join in the fun and blog about the cards in order to get yourself some free cards go to this link http://blog.shutterfly.com/5358/holiday2010-blog-submission-form/ and follow the directions!

I will leave you with a teaser of the image I think I am going to use on my cards. :)

Traditions and special moments: My Jewelry

Hello again!
As mentioned in a previous post some of my jewelry counted as my "borrowed" and "old" items... as per the bridal tradition BUT some of the jewelry was new. :)

I wore pearl earrings and 2 pearl bracelets that my husband had bought me. The other item I wore was my late Grandma Hawk's bracelet.

I wanted to do something a little special and so I asked my Grandma Nelson to put on my bracelets and my mother to put in my earrings. I thought it was neat and touching. :)

The last piece of jewelry that I had on on my wedding day was, of course, my BEAUTIFUL ring and wedding band!! :)

There are several more wedding posts to come, I just got ALL my pictures back so I will be hitting the blog hard soon! Thanks for reading!!
