First video project for the Paralympics!

Well I have officially completed my first video assignment for the USOC, although it was quite a chore. For one I don't have my professional camera or editing software yet so I had to shoot everything on my hand held camera. I didn't have a microphone either so the audio was really hard to gather. I edited the package in IMovie which is not a very advanced movie-making program.

The video is from the Paralympics Leadership Ski Symposium that happened this past Friday-Sunday. I was suppose to shoot all day Friday and have the video prepared to show the group on Saturday. The group consisted of Adaptive skiing program leaders from all over the country from Alaska to Maine. I was able to get all the B-roll and interviews I needed on Friday and spent Friday night editing the piece, however because my computer is so old, slow and crappy it crashed around 4 AM and I LOST EVERYTHING!

So I got a few hours of sleep, got up Saturday morning and got back to work, starting over. I was able to finish the video however and get it to the OTC in time to play it for the closing session.
