This week several trainers from all branches of the military came to the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center to learn several methods for adapting standard gym equipment to accomodate service members that have suffered physical injuries. They were also taught several Paralympic sports to take back to the soldiers in their programs. All this is done to enhance the role of sports in the rehabilitation process.
