This wedding was another fun one! I guess I am just really lucky that every wedding I do is a great time. :) This wedding was so bright and vibrant with all the daisies, shades of pink and shades of orange. The bride was a girl I went to High School with who was in the class under me.
The day started out nice but then about an hour before pictures the skies started to darken and rain came down! Talk about being nervous... I could DEFINITELY feel for Steph as she got ready, hoping that the rain was going to pass. Sure enough it moved on pretty quickly and we were able to get pictures taken before the ceremony with no problem. It was a pretty ceremony but a little hot and humid. I won't complain about the sun though... it was better than rain and it made some great pictures. I know Steph and Steven will have a great life together!
So this wedding was special to me because it was my younger cousin, Kayla, getting married. I grew up right down the road from her and we are closer than cousins... more like sisters. She is one year younger than I and we have done pretty much everything together from playing together every day as kids to playing High School sports and having class together. It is actually kind of cool how we are so close in age because her brother Justin is 2 years older than me, I am one year older than Kayla and SHE is one year older than my brother. There we are... all right in a row. :)
At Kayla's wedding I wasn't the official photographer but I couldn't help not taking pictures... you know me being me. ;) It was a great ceremony and I was privileged to get to sing "God Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts while the bridal party marched in. I wish the best for my cousin Kayla and her new husband Aaron!
My way through the world while looking through a lens. I want to share things I've learned, things I've seen and a whole bunch of pictures!
